YS17-E28    Little Veterinarian School     CCE Summer - 2017

Description:
Little Veterinarian School: Ages 6-10

Does your child love animals? Little Veterinarian School provides hands-on activities that will actively engage children as they learn how to take care of a pet and explore the exciting world of veterinarians. Throughout the week, students will use their stuffed dog and record in their journal how to take an assessment of their pet, care for wounds and stitches, and give their pet medication. They will learn what foods their pet needs in order to stay healthy, as well as those foods to avoid. Children will also learn and discuss how antibodies recognize and kill germs that enter the body. They will graduate at the end of the week and receive a diploma. Children may bring a peanut free snack and drink to class. *Children must have completed kindergarten. *An additional $35 materials fee to be given to the instructor at the first class. Program Director: Nicole Matoian
